The finely sculpted & patinated figure of crouching tiger, exhibiting finely executed proportions and demonstrating learned attention to form, musculature & naturalistic markings. Signed on the underside in characters within a trefoil lozenge for Hideyoshi Seizo (working 1875-1899).

Exhibiting a fine old surface & patina overall, standing upon a carved wooden plateau, possibly associated.

Bronze measurements, 5.25” high x 14.5” long x 3.5” deep.
